Method Man might be known for his iron-clad rhymes but he’s also a keen fitness buff, and he’s let fans in on his latest gym challenge.

On Saturday (June 24), the Wu-Tang Clan rapper took to Instagram to reveal that he felt he was getting a little too full around the middle for his liking; so he decided to combat his perceived weight gain in the gym, and the results were pretty impressive.

“Operation get rid of the muffin top — success!” he said in the video as he showed off his new washboard abs.

In the caption, however, Mef made clear that his post was “for motivational purposes only,” and didn’t share his workout or diet regimen. Check out the results below.

Whether he has a muffin top or washboard abs, Method Man can still get the attention from the ladies, as Modern Family actress Julie Bowen recently demonstrated.

In an interview with The Jennifer Hudson Show which originally aired in March, but whose behind-the-scenes footage dropped earlier this month, Bowen confessed to the former American Idol contestant-turned-EGOT winner that the “Bring the Pain” rapper is even better looking in person.

“He’s backstage! she said, breathlessly, to Hudson. “I came up — we all know Wu-Tang Clan. And, he was always fine. Oh my God, he’s gotta be 50. He is fine. He can be my daddy any day!”

Bowen then asked Hudson if Mef was a married man — to which Hudson replied that he was.

“Oh,” Bowen replied. “Let me drink my sad water then.”

In the backstage footage, Bowen can be seen squealing as she hugs Method Man, who seemed to take her good-natured flirting in stride. “I’m sorry! I’m objectifying you, but you’re so freakin’ fine!” she said.

Julie Bowen, obviously, isn’t the only celebrity who’s quite the fan of Method Man. Back in April, former G-Unit rapper Lloyd Banks shared a drawing he’d made of the “Protect Ya Neck” rapper in celebration of the pair’s joint track, “101 Razors,” taken from Banks’ The Course of the Inevitable 3: Pieces of My Pain.

“This HipHop thing captured my attention at a very young age..I used to sit in school..write raps and draw pictures of my favorite artist,” he captioned his post on Instagram. “This was one of them [laughing face emojis] now in 2023 we actually have a record together!!!!! Unbelievable!!!! and the video is out now!! #COTI3 on the way #QGTM.”
